This is a difficult one to answer but I think that your answer might be B: The orange and blue flower uses complementary colors.

Explanation:

I think this is because the rest of the painting mostly has duller colors like the green, black, and browns. So, this was added in to give the painting a few bright colors to stand out but, to also not take away from the full picture.

Invented - 2D patterns created by the repetition of lines of shapes.

Rough textures - reflect light unevenly.

Smooth textures - reflect light evenly.

Matte - surface that reflects a soft, dull light.

Impasto - a painting technique in which the paint is built up on the surface to create a texture.
