Discuss ONE possible strategy to control the cane toad population. Include the consequence or limitations of this strategy.
maxonik [38]
One possible strategy would be to find the cane toads natural predators. if the cane toad does have natural predators, then it can control the population by hunting it and etc. one limitation to this however would be that there has to be an balance between the toad and that natural predator. for example, they need to survive off of each other so there can’t be too many of the toads not so many natural predators and vise verse. (i hope this makes sense i took bio last year)

If bed bugs had never been exposed to DDT in the 1950's and 1960's, how would you expect that to affect bed bugs' resistance to
Alika [10]
What is the connection between DDT and pyrethroids? They are both pesticides, but different ones. However, many mutations that protect the bugs from one of them also work on the other.

So, if they had been exposed, they'd be selected for resistence to these pesticides. But if they have not been exposed; they would be dying more often during the last decade.
