What is the tense of the underlined verb?
Aliun [14]

Answer:

A

Explanation:

It can happen at any time.

Progress means "forward or onward movement toward a destination". -Google

That means that the verbs can happen any time.  "The door creaked," would be simple past.

Simple present would be, "<u>Opens</u> the door and it <u>creaked</u>".

This shows that it happened now, but only once.

For past progressive, I have no idea.  Maybe it's, "Opened the door and it creaks."
