Nationalistic views can also lead to a country taking over another one and turning them into a colony to further the resources available or making the nationalistic country more strong.

It affected the society because Martin Luther King was a very good leader who wasn't afraid of advocating for human rights, especially Black people human rights. When he got killed, that affected the society because people feared that if they advocated for people rights, they would get shot and killed just as MLK did.
