What should the following equation be multiplied by to eliminate the decimals?6.74x-1.026=0.138.
Evgen [1.6K]

Answer:

b.1000

Step-by-step explanation:

6.74x-1.026=0.138

The smallest decimal goes to the thousandths place, so we need to multiply by 1000

.138

. tenths  hundredths  thousandths

Another way to look at it

.138 = 138/1000  so multiply by 1000 to get rid of the decimal

1.026 is to the same place value so we could pick either one to determine what to multiply by

The height h, in feet, of a projectile t seconds after launch is modeled by the equation h = 32t – 16t2. how long after launch d
Ipatiy [6.2K]
Dy/dx h = 32t - 16t^2
v = 32 - 32t
at Max hight speed is 0m/s
therefore

0 = 32 - 32t
t = 32/32 = 1 s

so it goes up to Max hieght in 1 s
and it takes another 1s to come back
thus time after launch to return to ground is 2s!

Answer:

P(Yellow) = \frac{29}{147}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Brown = 27\\Purple = 47\\Yellow = 29\\Green = 44

Required

P(Yellow) --- next roll to be yellow

This is calculated as:

P(Yellow) = \frac{Yellow}{Total}

So, we have:

P(Yellow) = \frac{29}{27 + 47 + 29 + 44}

P(Yellow) = \frac{29}{147}

(11 - 9i) - (15 - 12i) Ok so first multiple the subtraction sign into the parenthesis on the right had side of it.
And you get -15 + 12i
So now you have 11 - 9i -15 + 12i Combine Like terms
-9i + 12i = 3i
11 - 15 = -4
So your answer is 3i - 4
