By 1963 the right of free voting hadn't been achieved by the civil rights movement. The decade of the fifty's was a continuous fight against the segregation in school and public areas, Martin Luther King Jr. began with pacific protest over discrimination, reaching the maximum national attention in 1963 in the Washington march. Was until 1965 that the voting right act was signed.

Germany’s invasion of Poland in 1939 led to the outbreak of World War II, and by 1941 Nazi forces had occupied much of Europe. Hitler’s virulent anti-Semitism and obsessive pursuit of Aryan supremacy fueled the murder of some 6 million Jews, along with other victims of the Holocaust. After the tide of war turned against him, Hitler committed suicide in a Berlin bunker in April 1945.
Slaves were seen as lesser people in the populous, in terms of representation, slave numbers were considered 3/5 of what they were, and the issue of slavery was not pushed in the two key debates in fear that it would lead to the Southern states distancing themselves.
