Answer:

The Battle of Nashville was fought in December 1864 and was an attempt by Union forces to break the Confederate Army of Tennessee under General John Bell Hood that had resisted in northern Alabama and in at least three battles: Hoover's Gap and Franklin and Nashville

Explanation:

The Battle started on December 16th with a surprise attack from Union troops from Missouri, who surrounded Hood’s army from the northeast. This forced his troops to withdraw northwest towards Waldron’s Point. In order to get his artillery out of reach of the advancing Northern forces he ordered a column to lead the artillery on a perilous night march outside of Nashville.​

One of the causes of the American Revolution is that the Americans were mad at the British King for taxing their tea. In protest, they threw lots of tea into the water before they had to pay for it. Another reason is that the Americans watnted to have religious freedom. They did not want to have to follow the King anymore.
