let minutes = m

let total = t

For the first plan (1), the cell phone plan charges $20 a month (flat fee), and $0.15 per minute.

For the second plan (2), the cell phone plan charges $35 a month (flat fee) and $0.10 per minute

(1) t = 0.15m + 20

(2) t = 0.10m + 35

Because they all equal t, set them equal to each other

0.15m + 20 = 0.10m + 35

0.15m (-0.10m) + 20 (-20) = 0.10m (-0.10m) + 35 (-20)

0.15m - 0.10m = 35 - 20

0.05m = 15

Isolate the m. Divide 0.05 from both sides

0.05m/0.05 = 15/0.05

m = 15/0.05

m = 300

300 minutes is your answer

hope this helps

300 minutes because 20+(300*0.15)=66

and 35+(300*0.10)=66.

Write a formula that will compute the final grade for the course, using G to represent the final grade, H to represent the homew
Tasya [4]

Answer:

To calculate final grade we use the formula:

Final grade = H( the weight of h) + Q( the weight of q) + P (the weight of project) +T (the weight of test) + F(the weight of final exams).

This formula help us to calculate the grade we need to get.

Step-by-step explanation:

Solution:

Suppose grade breakdown for certain college course is as follow:

Homework = 15%

Quizzes = 20%

Project = 10%

Test = 40%

Final exam= 15%

Let G represent the final grade

H represents homework average,

Q represents quizzes and P represent project, T represent test average and F represent final exam.

To calculate final grade we use the formula:

Final grade = H( the weight of h) + Q( the weight of q) + P (the weight of project) +T (the weight of test) + F(the weight of final exams).

This formula help us to calculate the grade we need to get.
