What is the best way to lengthen an essay? I have one due in 5hrs and I need it to be 1000 words but I'm only at 673.

Whatever the topic is here are some things you could do:

• add in other’s perspectives/opinions toward the specific topic

• write things down (topic wise) on a post-it because even if you don’t think it’ll be important you may change your mind and use it later

• research more / new information about the topic that may be useful

• go more in depth of a sentence!! an example: whatever your sentence is about make a new sentence and add more information about the previous sentence)

Whatever it is you are writing about I would try to give additional info like try to be very explanatory on that subject, giving facts describing it with intricate/longer sentences.  (basically, lengthen it by adding more detail and explanations)
