Suppose the line of best fit is being found for some data points that have an r-value of 0.657. If the standard deviation of the
oksian1 [2.3K]
We are given a line with the following data:

r-value = 0.657 (r)
standard deviation of x-coordinates = 2.445 (Sx)
standard deviation of y-coordinates = 9.902 (Sy)

We are asked to find the slope of the line up to 3 decimal places.

To find the slope of the line, based on the data that we have, we can use this formula:

slope, b = r * (Sy / Sx)

substitute the values to the formula:

b = 0.657 * ( 9.902 / 2.445 )

Solve for the b.

Therefore, the slope of the line is

b = 2.66078, round off to three decimal places:

b = 2.661 is the slope of the line.

The sale per linear feet is $16.75.

First, we need to find the total amount of sales, so we have to subtract the returns and discounts.

10342 - 217 - 599 = 9529

Now, divide this amount by the amount of linear feet.
9529 / 575 = 16.57

I need some help please. Write a function rule to describe each statement...
hichkok12 [17]
You could see the pattern

it cost 3.8 cent to print 1 dollar,

It cost 2 x 3.8 cents to print 2 dollar

it cost 3 x 3.8 cents to print 3 dollar

First equation
f(x) = 3.8 x

Same with second equation,
f(x) = 15x

for equation 3, it would be :

y = 1.50 x - 0.8x

Hope this helps
