What is a theme in the poem "In Spite of War"?
Usimov [2.4K]

Answer:

Life goes on despite terrible occurrences.

Explanation:

"In Spite of War" is a poem written by<em> Angela Morgan</em>. It shows the readers that life goes on even after terrible happenings around the world, such as earthquakes or war. Many people die every time, but<u><em> life continues</em></u>. She depicted life by emphasizing the <em>"blooming of the flowers."</em> In order for people to enjoy the life that they're living, in whatever era or situation, they should<em> look at its brighter side and be grateful.</em> Doing this can give them a <em>hope</em> to<u><em> continue living</em></u>.

Which states the rhetorical appeal that the passage
sesenic [268]

The correct answer is A. The passage appeals to logos.

Explanation:

The appeal to logos focuses on supporting the author's point of view by using reasoning. This occurs in the excerpt presented because the author of this text uses reasoning or logical arguments to explain how the Declaration of independence includes all men no matter their race, religion, etc. This can be seen in "It does not say some men, but it  says all men" that explain the author's main point, as well as,  logical reasons such as "does not say all Protestants, but it says all men, which  includes Catholics" because this argument is a conclusion that can be drawn using logic. This means the author relies on logic and reason, which makes this passage to use the appeal to logos.

Identify the italicized word according to its class in structural linguistics.
Marta_Voda [28]
I don't know which word is underlined, so I will just write every part of speech.
Rain is a noun.
Began is a linking verb.
To is an empty word.
Fall is a verb.
Or to fall could be seen as a verb, you don't have to separate them.
But again, you didn't underline anything, so I don't know for sure.
