Answer: I raced to school today was the day of the big race and I was going to win. I had practiced day after day at my local gym. My training coach was even proud of me for going the extra mile after each run. I felt relieved when there was only 10 people who were going to race me until I saw Kristy the fastest runner here besides me. I stared at her with rage I thought she was sick and I stared at the floor realizing it was over for me I was not going to win this years race after all the training and working out I was not going to win. I looked around the track field once more than shook the thought out of my mind. I will win. The speakers told us to go to the starting line and I rushed over. Kristy was right next to me I could feel my heart pumping. I know I was going to win and become the fastest there was. A man raised the flag and off we were. I ran and I ran until me and Kristy were neck in neck. I ran as far as I could. I closed my eyes and there was cheering I didn’t know who won but all I could say I never felt more embraced in my life.

Answer:

The culture in which William was raised was: Option A: There were not enough qualified teachers to make school worth attending.

Explanation:

"The Boy who harnessed the Wind" is an inspiring story about a boy, William, who built a windmill made out of bicycle parts. William was very fond of studying but there was lack of schools in his village. But, he did not stop and studied himself by going to the library.

In the given lines, it is shown that students had stopped going to school during famine. Even teachers used to disappear into the fields to search for food after recess in the morning. This shows that the teachers were not qualified enough, which is Option A.

Jamie can't help but notice and be negatively affected by the interviewer's frown as he explains to her why he left his last job
levacccp [35]

Your question is missing the options. I've found the complete question online. It is as follows:

Jamie can't help but notice and be negatively affected by the interviewer's frown as he explains to her why he left his last job. This scenario demonstrates which characteristic of communication?

Communication is transactional.

Communication is unintentional.

Communication is dyadic.

Communication is irreversible.

Answer:

Communication is transactional.

Explanation:

As the situation described shows, communication is transactional. That means that all people involved can simultaneously send and receive messages. Jamie is the one speaking, answering a question about himself. Still, he receives a message when the interviewer frowns. Since frowns are associated with disapproval or annoyance, Jamie is now negatively affected by the thought that the interviewer disapproves of his answer. Therefore, Jamie is at the same time conveying and receiving a message. Transactional also refers to the fact that the elements in the process of communication are in constant change. Jamie and the interviewer are both changing as communication takes place. Their interaction causes them to have new thoughts, perspectives, and opinions.
