One activity that I don’t like doing is public speaking. When public speaking I feel as there is no time for breaks. When writing a test u can stop for a moment and breathe, but speaking publicly doesn’t give you that option. I can’t even express myself to the best of my ability because of how much stress and pressure I get while publicity speaking

One of the main elements of an epic poem is an extended metaphor. which of the following characterizes an extended metaphor? 1.)
bazaltina [42]

The correct answer is 1. an extended comparison.

A metaphor is a type of comparison - when you are symbolically comparing two or more things (without using words such as like or as), you are using a metaphor. If you extend that metaphor into several lines or stanzas within a poem, then you are using an extended metaphor, which commonly appears in epic poems such as The Odyssey or The Iliad.

Which of the following is the correct plural form of radius? Select all that apply.
PolarNik [594]
The plural form of the word radius is radii.

I know it sounds weird, but this is correct. Adding -s at the end of the radius would make the word grammatically incorrect. This is because the word radius itself is a Latin word.
