NOTE: Almost all subjects have different rules regarding rounding off and significant figures. I'll be using the rules that I usually apply in school.
Marcus:
$35.99 * 5.5% = $1.98
$1.98 + $35.99 = $37.97 (Total Cost)
Tia:
Since it wasn't specified if the coupon was applied before or after tax, we're going to assume that it was applied before tax because that's usually how it works.
$39.99 * 15% = $5.9985 or $6.00
$39.99 - $6.00 = $33.99
$33.99 * 9% = $3.0591 or $3.06
$33.99 + $3.06 = $37.05 (Total Cost)
Difference in Marcus and Tia's Total Cost:
$37.97 - $37.05 = 0.92 cents
Answer:
Orchestral Work

How does a symphonic orchestra work?

it varies. there is a "classic" configuration for symphonic orchestras, baroque orchestras and so on. The symphony orchestra is most typically from about 75-90, but...actual results vary a lot because everyone is trying to be interesting (in that classical music "radical is having 100 members of your orchestra! kinda way). The quantity of each of the instruments varies within some general guidelines and in general the world of classical symphonic is well aware when you're pushing the boundaries that are as much about tradition and norms as they are about composer-driven-rules. You'll almost never see anything but the 1st violins to the left of the conductor, but...you'll see lots of variation in the placement of the bass for example and percussion are virtually always in the back, etc.
Answer:
target audience, what are you showing and why will they look at whatever it is you're making
Explanation:
My personal opinion: Music was used (back in the day) to express beliefs and pass down ideas of cultures. Nowadays it is used mostly for entertainment. But in between that there was a time of 'social reflection'. Take for example, The Classical Era of 1750. The music was mostly classical because they had influence from the middle ages and Europe's style back then. It was used for social gatherings because of the flow of the music. Ludwig Van Beethoven, for example, was incorporated in the Classical Era, and a transition to the Romantic Era (which has music with a lot of emotion). Later on though, music has been shaped into an entertainment for us.
