Parents who expect complete obedience from their children but offer little warmth are:
inna [77]

Answer:

Authoritarian.

Explanation:

There are different parenting styles that all parents apply in their parenting process. These styles all differ in their level of authority that they have over their children to the level of communication with their children, and how one applies such patterns reveals the type of parenting one employs.

Parents who expect complete obedience from their children, with no opposition or without any question are known to be authoritative. Such type of parenting style gives no 'voice' to the children, who are expected to obey whatever their parents decide or say without any complaints or objections. It is like a tyrannical rule where the one in power has complete authority over the others and expects them to obey his every word. Such type of parenting offers less to no warmth or affection to the children, further leading them to become cold towards their parents and results in little to no affection between them.

Which of the stories below can be classified as a folk tale? a) “The Orphan Boy and the Elk Dog” A Blackfoot Legend b) “Promethe
tankabanditka [31]

The story that could be classified as folk tale is a) "The Orphan Boy and the Elk Dog" A Blackfoot Legend.

Folktales, by definition, are those stories and legends that originated from the lives and imagination of the people and their folklore, and they were oral literature transmitted from one generation to the next by a storyteller. Folktales were used to transmit the knowledge of the community and their legends. They do not have an individual author though they might be compiled by an editor.

In the case mentioned, "The Orphan Boy and the Elk Dog" is a 19th century folktale that explains how horses came to the Blackfoot Native American Tribe.

Write a paragraph of at least seven sentences about one of the following themes. What has Harper Lee shown the reader so far abo
Anon25 [30]

Answer:

Explanation:

n Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird, the theme of appearance vs. reality is a prevalent one, and Boo is a perfect example of this theme—as is Tom Robinson, at least as far as the townspeople are concerned.

When Atticus decides to defend Tom Robinson for allegedly raping Mayella Ewell, the townspeople are angry. They anticipated that Tom would have a lawyer, but not one that would defend a man that most of them believe raped a white woman. Because Tom is black, he is guilty before he steps into the courtroom—as seen by the lynch mob that shows up at the jail while Atticus sits outside with a light, chair and newspaper. The mob has made up its mind that Tom is guilty, and they do not need a court trial to carry out the sentence they believe he should serve: to be hanged until dead.

"He in there, Mr. Finch?" a man said.

"He is," we heard Atticus answer, "and he's asleep. Don't wake him up."...

"You know what we want," another man said. "Get aside from the door, Mr. Finch."
