Can someone fix the grammar and the punctuation of the sentence plz
Sveta_85 [38]

Answer:

I like that the film version tells the story better for Jim Valentine because in the film we can get a better idea of what the characters look like. The film version gives us something that we can’t experience in a book like emotions and facial expressions. For example, when the character is in a sad scene you can’t see how they react in a book but the film, you can see how they react. Also the picture of the setting we can hear how the music goes. With the play, the lighting will get darker and in the emotional scenes and get brighter and a happy scene. The scenes are best portrayed in the film. In the text, you can't hear their tone or you can’t see the setting or the characteristics of the character. In conclusion, the film version is better at telling the story of Jim Valentine because it gives us a better picture of the story.

Josephine read the children a story about a whale in the library. choose the answer that is the most effective substitute for th
Ilia_Sergeevich [38]
I'm going to go with A.

Choice B makes it sounds like Josephine is reading to an actual whale about children.
Choice C just sounds wayyy too cluttered when read aloud.
And choice D, it's not written correctly.

Select the sentence with the correctly used homophones.
Alchen [17]

Answer:

The answer is C, Who's coming to your house for dinner?

Explanation:

If we look at all the answer choices in depth we can see why the clear answer is C.

A. Wrong usage of the word "two", two represents the number form and the proper usage would be "too".

B. Wrong usage of "you're". The word you're represents "you are", and putting it together it doesn't sound right and in general isn't the right usage.

C. No grammar issues, correct usage of Who's since it is an abbreviation for "who is".

D. Incorrect usage of Whose, I would assume it would be who's.

*Note: if the answer had two correct options I would choose C and D :)
