Cree que la tecnología pueda remplazar a los maestro en la escuela.
zheka24 [161]

Sí, creo que la tecnología puede reemplazar a los maestros ya que la tecnología avanza cada vez más y más. Por ejemplo, en las fábricas todo solía ser hecho por un humano pero ahora en tiempos donde la tecnología avanzó y los robots son cada vez mejores, los robots trabajan en vez de seres humanos. Entonces como conclusión, sí, la tecnología puede reemplazar a los maestros de la escuela.

WHAT IS THE SUBJUNCTIVE?

The subjunctive is used for a verb when something could or could not happen. If you want to say "If you do that, it will be bad", you are saying that the person could do that or they might not. In this case, we will use the subjunctive.

You can also use this tense to give commands, wishes, or hopes. If want to tell someone "I want you to look, please", you are basically saying that you want them to look. They might do it, but they might not. This is why they use the subjunctive. You don't know if they will listen, but you hope that they will.

Also, with the subjunctive, there is not a separate conjugation for I and he,she,it. They will be the same.

To find the subjunctive tense of a verb, you will give -ar verbs the endings of the -er, and you will give the -er and -ir verbs the endings of the -ar verbs. As always, there are a few exceptions to these rules. For example, the él/ellaústed subjunctive of tener is tenga, poner is ponga, salir, is salga, etc. The main irregularities are with those verbs that have the -go ending when conjugated to the yo form normally.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

HOW TO CONJUGATE VERBS TO MAKE THEM SUBJUNCTIVE

AR Verb

Hablar

Yo hable

Tú hables

Él/ella/usted hable

Nosotros hablemos

Ellos/ellas/ustedes hablen

ER VERB

Comer

Yo coma

Tú comas

Él/ella/usted coma

Nosotros comamos

Ellos/ellas/ustedes coman

IR VERB

Escribir

Yo escriba

Tú escribas

Él/ella/usted escriba

Nosotros escribamos

Ellos/ellas/ustedes escriban

-------------------------------------------------------------------

PREPARING OUR RESPONSE

Let's think about thinks we could talk about to use the subjunctive.

Giving requests, wishes, desires, hopes, etc.

Saying that if something does something, something else will happen.

Saying that something might be one way, and it might not.

Let's think about how we can use these when talking to the genie. Let's diagram five sentence ideas.

1. Hey, thank you! I hope that you're telling the truth, Mr. Genie. (Giving a hope)

2. If you don't grant my wish, it will make me very angry. (If something doesn't happen, something else will happen)

3. I want you to give me a big mansion, a new car, lots of money, new friends, and the ability to learn very quickly. (desires)

4. If you do this, it would bring me a lot of joy to me (if something happens, something else will happen)

5. I hope that you have a good day! (A hope)

VOCABULARY

Let's look at some important vocabulary for our response.

genie- el genio

to grant (a wish)- conceder

joy- la alegría

to bring- traer

to tell the truth- decir la verdad

ability- la habilidad

angry- enojado/a (use o if you are male and a if you are female)

hey (as a greeting)- oye

wish- el deseo

-------------------------------------------------------------------

THE RESPONSE

¡Oye, Sr. Genio! Espero que digas la verdad! Si no conciedas mi deseo, me hace sentir muy enojado/a. Quiero que me des una mansión grande, un coche nuevo, mucho dinero, amigos nuevos, y la habilidad de aprender muy rápidamente. Si hagas esto, me traerá mucha alegría. ¡Espero que tengas un buen día!

-------------------------------------------------------------------

I hope that this helps you out! You will now be able to use the subjunctive tense and all of the vocabulary words I showed you! Getting fluent in Spanish will be super easy for you now, and I wish you the best of luck on your Spanish journey! ¡Espero que tengas un buen día! :D

Escribe quien, que, o lo que en el espacio.
inysia [295]

1) Right answer:

que

El diario que yo leo es muy interesante

This lesson stands for relative pronouns. A relative pronoun is used to introduce a clause that describes a previously mentioned noun. One of the most important relative pronouns is que that means that, which, who, or whom and can refer to a person, place, or thing. Here que stands for el diario. This sentence translates into:

The diary that I read is very interesting

2) Right answer:

que

Hay mucha gente que no tiene casa en esta ciudad

Here we also use que. So here this relative pronoun stands for gente even though gente is still in the sentence. In this way, we can translate que here as who. So, in English this sentence means:

There are many people who don't have a house in this city

3) Right answer:

lo que

Yo no comprendo lo que tú dices

lo que means that which, what or the thing that and refers to an abstract idea. When we use this relative pronoun we are talking about a general idea. Thus, the translation of this sentence is:

I don't understand what you mean

4) Right answer:

que

El libro que nosotros usamos fue escrito por mi amigo

Here we also use que. So, this relative pronoun stands for el libro even though el libro is still in the sentence. Since libro (book) is a thing, then the relative pronoun translates into that. Therefore, in English this sentence means:

The book that we used was written by my friend

5) Right answer:

quien

Dime quien llegó

Quien is a relative pronoun that means who or whom and can only refer to a person. So here i want to know who arrived at a place. Thus, the translation of this sentence is:

who arrived?

So a response to this question might be:

María llegó in which case María replaces quien
