differences:

Incas lodged inside the Andes Mountains, whereas the Aztecs would stay in Central Mexico.

Inca was ruled by Sapa Inca where the emperor had the most power, while the Aztecs were polytheistic. The Aztecs would build temples and pyramids for their god, Huitzilopochtli.

similarities:

They were based on managing resources and goods, and the providence was centered around their agriculture.

The Incas and the Aztecs were originally clan based but they grew into thriving empires.
