What similarities and differences can you identify in the two depictions of the Boston Massacre at right?
elena55 [62]

The best known of the engravings depicting the Boston Massacre was made by Paul Revere in 1770, but several other versions appeared in Massachusetts and London over the next two years. Each of these images was made to express outrage at the actions of the British troops and to solicit support for the Patriot cause. The images of the confrontation between the soldiers and the townspeople are significant and compelling, but are historically inaccurate. The artists influenced public opinion by depicting a line of Redcoats firing point-blank into a defenseless crowd, when in fact there was no such organized military action and the civilians were an unruly mob of sixty.

What problem have people ran into creating models of da Vinci’s designs
Xelga [282]

Leonardo da Vinci was an architectural artist who was so famous for his designs for buildings, bridges, and even whole cities. Hence this made people ran into creating models of da Vinci’s designs.

Explanation:

Da Vinci painted Mona Lisa so that the eyes are the focal point of the watcher's consideration and the mouth is the fringe. Leonardo da Vinci was a Renaissance painter, stone carver, designer, creator, military specialist, and sketcher. His drawings give us a thought of the operations of a structure, not simply its outward appearance. His plans for structures incorporate glorious mansions, houses of prayer, and estates.

He utilized his profound investigation of feathered creatures and bats to devise a flying machine, or Ornithopter, in which an individual would be lashed into a lot of wooden wings that they would have the option to fold to keep up high. Da Vinci was the primary individual to plan a defensively covered tank. While working for the Duke of Milan, he made a shielded war machine, total with 36 firearms to be driven by eight men.

How did the french revolution bring reform and terror?
cestrela7 [59]

Reform: During the French Revolution, the National Assembly was able to set some new standards or reforms, which they thought would better the whole situation. Amongst these reforms we have a balance of powers, a declaration which stated that all men were equal under the law; just because you were noble-born did not mean you had privileges; no emperors or dictators were able to rule; they would not return to the "Ancien Regime"; and finally, the monarchic rule would end.

Terror: After the death of Louis XVI in 1793, the Reign of Terror began. The first to be affected by this was Marie Antoinette who had been imprisoned with her children. The guillotine, the new instrument for democratic justice, was put to work. Public executions were thought of as educational. Women were encouraged to sit and knit during trials and executions. Across France 30,000 people were killed for very unnecessary things such as saying something critical of the revolutionary government. The leader during this time was Robespierre. He was the leader of Public Safety, the executive committee of the National Convention, and the most powerful man on France. But after some time, people believed that the Terror must be stopped. Even his supporters, the Jacobins believed that it was time to stop the Terror. Many conventions were held in order to stop the Terror. Danton was the one leading this, but later was threatened to death and prohibited from defending himself.
