Mean is when you add all of them together and divide by the amount of data you collected. Mean is considered the average. So, all of them added together would be 14. Divide that by 7. You should get 2 and that is the average.

What is the slope of the line that goes through -3,7 & -17,3
Natalka [10]

Point 1: (-3, 7)

Point 2: (-17, 3)

To find the slope, we need to use the slope formula which is as follows: m = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1). We will plug in each x and y coordinate from our points above, respectively.

m = (3 - 7) / (-17 - - 3)

m = (-4) / (-14)

m = 2/7

The slope of the line that goes through (-3, 7) and (-17, 3) is 2/7.

Hope this helps!! :)

EXPAND:
Sladkaya [172]

Answer:

\displaystyle  A) 5\log( {x}^{}   )  +   2 \log( {y}^{} )

Step-by-step explanation:

we would like to expand the following logarithmic expression:

\displaystyle   \log( {x}^{5}  {y}^{2} )

remember the multiplication logarithmic indentity given by:

\displaystyle \rm  \log( \alpha  \times  \beta ) \iff  \log( \alpha ) +  \log( \beta )

so our given expression should be

\displaystyle   \log( {x}^{5}   )  +    \log( {y}^{2} )

by exponent logarithmic property we acquire:

\displaystyle   5\log( {x}^{}   )  +   2 \log( {y}^{} )

hence, our answer is A
