Answer: The American revolution lead to the rights that we have today.

Explanation: During the American Revolutionary war, events builds up the bill of rights, such as the seventh amendment, the right to the jury. During the Boston Massacur, the British soldiers salughter civilians, and while most wanted to hang them all, John Adams stepped in the way and gave them all a jury, which is the seventh amendment. We tests those rights by using the jury often in the court of law. (I don't know what materials you want, but if this is not good enough, you should talk about how we were given the rights to bear arms through the war since we're the militia.)

After a case has been granted certiorari which is when four Justices agree to review a case it is then the justices may decide against further review of the case. They can review a case an decide to dismiss it if Court may feel the case presented during oral arguments did not present the constitutional issues in a clear-cut way. In this event the writ of certiorari is "dismissed as improvidently granted" (DIG)—saying, in effect that the Court should not have accepted the case. Harsh right XD

The Supreme Court accepts 100-150 of the more than 7,000 cases that it is asked to review each year. - Us courts website claims this number

2. Read this passage and then explain the difference between causation and correlation.
djverab [1.8K]

Answer:

The difference between causation and correlation, is that causation is when one event causes another one to happen. Correlation is not causation because two events can correlate, but that doesn’t mean that they caused each other. One example of causation could be because there was a large  run of salmon, he got the most he has ever caught. One example of correlation is that there was a large run of salmon, and coincidently the new mayor is a great fisherman. There being a large run of salmon did not cause the new mayor, who is a good fisherman, to be elected. That’s a little confusing, you may have to read it more than once.
