History

I’m not quite certain what your asking, but what I got from the question was: You could say that the North western part of the United States is the highland because we have the Rockies (or in other words the Rockies mountains, which are huge in elevation) in that area and our elevation is higher compared to the south eastern part of the United States who border the ocean (can’t remember which ocean). I hope this is what you were looking for!

Kisachek [45]
Less than a year after Raleigh brought colonists over from England to settle on Roanoke Island, the colony failed because the Englishmen simply did not know how to survive on their own in the New World. Therefore, Raleigh took them back to England, and later, Lane led another expedition to explore new land.

Bill clinton became the second president in us history to be...?
LiRa [457]

Bill Clinton (1946-), the 42nd U.S. president, served in office from 1993 to 2001. Prior to that, the Arkansas native and Democrat was governor of his home state. During Clinton’s time in the White House, America enjoyed an era of peace and prosperity, marked by low unemployment, declining crime rates and a budget surplus. Clinton appointed a number of women and minorities to top government posts, including Janet Reno, the first female U.S. attorney general, and Madeleine Albright, the first female U.S. secretary of state. In 1998, the House of Representatives impeached Clinton on charges related to a sexual relationship he had with a White House intern. He was acquitted by the Senate. Following his presidency, Clinton remained active in public life.
