Columbus is often credited as discovering the Americas even though the lands he encountered were already populated by native soc

ieties that were soon after destroyed. Should Columbus be revered for this discovery?

To me this is kind of an opinion question, but if i were to answer this as likea. factual question it would be the same answer so imma just put my opinion

My opinions is that Columbus <u>shouldn't</u> be revered (to be honored) for this discovery, because he didnt discover it. But i do think he should be credited for exploring the Americas.

and like i said i think the answer is the same thing
