What was science like before the start of the scientific revolution
tigry1 [53]
Before the Scientific Revolution, this method of gaining knowledge was uncommon. Some of the main ideas of science had been expressed long before the Scientific Revolution. In fact, some of the basic ideas of science are ancient. Many Greek thinkers expressed ideas that, today, we would call scientific. Before the Scientific Revolution, most educated people who studied the world took guidance from the explanations given by authorities like ancient Greek writers and Catholic Church officials. After the Scientific Revolution, educated people placed more importance on what they observed and less on what they were told.

What was the consequences of the 14 and 15th amendments
padilas [110]

The 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments, also collectively known as the Civil War Amendments were designed to ensure equality for recently emancipated slaves. The 13th Amendment banned slavery and all involuntary servitude, except in the case of punishment for a crime.

The 14th Amendment guaranteed African Americans citizenship rights and promised that the federal government would enforce equal protection of the laws.

The 15th Amendment stated that no one could be denied the right to vote based on race, color or previous condition of servitude.

Why did both sides embrace trench warfare as a strategy to win the war?
DiKsa [7]
Because you could just sit in your trench and wait for the opponent to attack, at which point you could shoot him, throw explosive devices, or even use chemical weapons that weren't banned then.
