The perimeter is 22cm therefore the remaining side is 22-8-5=9 cm. A right triangle follows the Pythagorean theorem which states that any side is equal to the square root of the sum of the squares of the other side or A=B2+C2. Using this we can get side AB and see if we can get it using the Pythagorean theorem. 52+92=10.30 cm. therefore, triangle ABC is not a right-angled triangle

Plz help me with these math questions
Akimi4 [234]
For b on the first paper you will start with the distribution property and multiply both x and 2 by 3 because they are in the ()
now you have 3x+ 6=x-18
from here you can subtract x from both sides
2x+6=-18
next subtract 6 from both sides
2x=-24
divide both sides by 2...
x=-12
hope this helped

The vertex form of the equation of a parabola is y = 4(x - 2)2 - 1. What is the standard form of the equation?
Paladinen [302]
Ok so your original equation was y=4(x-2)²-1
Therefore we need to expand the bracket to find the original equation.
To do this we need to find (x-2)²=x²-4x+4
Now we multiply this by 4 and subtract 1
4x²-16x+15 Therefore B is the answer
