If there is a tie in the electoral college between two candidates, it is then up to the House of Representatives to pick the winner. Each state delegate would have one vote in this tie-breaker election. The Senate would be responsible for picking the Vice-President in the aforementioned scenario. This has happened just a few times in US history.
The attack affected the american security policies because after the attack the american security system was looked down on and also it was taken care of by making the security more stricter.It impacted the view of Islam because it was done by a Muslim group so Islam was looked at like a religion which allowed killing and brutal acts toward humanity.
