What’s the title? Titles are very important for poetry even if it’s just “untitled” lol…. I like this poem though, a lot for the mind to chew on and wonder about. Short and sweet as well

In a house alone, an old person sits silently as snow comes down. He/She can hear horse trot by on the cobblestone road outside his house, never stopping to say anything. The sound echoes through the person's ears, all through the night, as the lonely fire burns bright. 

That's what I imagine.

The same thing that happened in the 19th century, "The Great Stink". The name is real and it describes an event from the past which would repeat if they started throwing waste again. The river would become so polluted that disease and contagion would begin to spread. In the 19th century, it was cholera. Now, nobody knows.
