Motor vehicle crashes are the number ONE cause of death for people ages 3 to 33.

Further Explanation:

Approximately, motor vehicle crashes made up around 18% of death on that age group (since younger people are much less likely to die from illness). Large portions of death are strongly correlated to driving under influence of alcohol or taking away attention from the road while driving (such as using phone). Mobile phones are the major distraction while driving motor vehicles. Youth nowadays have a habit of making videos while driving so that they can post on their social media websites. Some people have craziness of driving at high speed i.e. Reckless Driving. According to the 2003 data traffic fatalities account for more than 90% of the transportation-related fatalities. In USA reckless driving is the major traffic violation. It is considered as a serious offence than the careless driving or improper driving. It is punishable by fine or imprisonment and suspension of the driver’s license. This is a mental state where the driver shows wanton disregard to the rules. He/she misjudges the driving procedures causing accidents and damages. A psychologist has studied about reckless driving and founded that reckless drivers have higher risk-taking personal traits. Some states like a Virginia excessive speed is sufficient for the reckless driver's conviction. In Virginia, it is considered as one misdemeanour.  The penalities include one-year jail term, six months loss of license and fines up to $2500. Reckless driving shows irreverence to the safety or property of the other people. Some people like racing, passing on the blind curves, going around the railroad barriers, swerving, passage of school bus with the stop signs down. The speed is generally high. The reckless driving is labelled misdemeanour rather than a traffic violation. Motorcycles account for nearly one-fifth of the motorcycle deaths. One in the seven riders wears the helmet and one in the five riders do not have motorcycle insurance. The estimated cost of the motorcycle casualties is nearly $1.48 million. In 2013 nearly 2494 people died in a vehicle crash in Florida of this number 18% per motorcyclist. According to the sources one in every third person believes that they should not wear a helmet, the same traffic rules apply to all the drivers of the other vehicle. The motorcyclist generally split the lane, weave between the lanes that result in clogging up of the cars. A basic rider course and then they should be given a proper license or an endorsement given to the existing driver's license. In case of insurance that is personal injury protection which is only required for four-wheeled vehicles.

Why do we study how to recognize a bias in American Government? Does it help us become better-informed citizens? Explain
Artemon [7]

Answer:

- We need to study how to recognize a bias in American Government in order to understand that the legislation that are made by the government government sometimes influenced bu interest group, so it might only benefit a select few who have enough wealth to influence the government.

(For example, government decision to let nature exploitation might benefit a certain industry while hurting the people who live around them)

- Recognizing this will definitely help us become better-informed citizens. We can always see if the decisions made by the government actually benefit the ones who need it or a select few who doesn't necessarily need government help.
