The Constitution does not directly mention secession, but the Supreme Court has consistently interpreted the Constitution to be an indestructible union. There is no legal basis a state can point to for unilaterally seceding. So basically, no, a state can not secede, it is blatantly illegal.

Anyway, many Shinto people have harsh practices. Most of the time, as a warmup you would hang from a rope by your head and balance for 2 hours. Then, punch stacks of paper against a brick wall for 2 hours, head bang into a bag for 2 hours, and be on a headstand for 2 hours. Everyday, for 2 years.
