Explanation:

The renaissance was the rebirth of knowledge and art. It was the bridge between medieval times and the middle ages. Culture, art and books from Ancient Greece and Rome were rediscovered.  The renaissance began in Italy and traveled north. The effects are still visible in Italy today in all of the art and culture there. Inventions such as the printing press allowed ideas to spread more rapidly, therefore begetting further inventions. Some of the world greatest artists and thinkers came from the renaissance such as Leonardo Da Vinci. The renaissance led to a world that focused more on reason, intellect and the human person.
