Answer:c

can you show the choices so I can see if my answer is on right track so I took 75 distance from home to first ×8

75 x 8 times running that which is 600

then a square all sides are equal so

I figured every distance is 75ft

so first to second is 75×8

second to third is 75×8

third to home is 75×8

so I took 600 and multiplied by 4 and got 2400

Answer:

d=√73=8.544

Step-by-step explanation:

Find distance (d) between market (0,8) , court house(6,5) and library(6,-1)

d between two pint is :

d=√(x2-x1)²-(y2-y1)²

d between market and court house:

d=√(6-0)²+(5-8)²

d=√36+9=√45 = 6.7082 ≅6.71 rounded to the nearest hundredths

d between courthouse and the library:

d=√(6-6)²+(-1-5)²

d=√36=6

the distance that Runner A ran=6.71+6=12.71

the distance from the library to the school:

d=√(6-(-2))²+(-1-(-4))²

d=√8²+3²

d=√64+9

d=√73=8.544 ( rounded to the nearest hundredth)

Runner B went  8.544 further than Runner A before stopping at school ( which is the distance between the library and the school.

alina1380 [7]

Answer:

1. a = 5, b = 8

2. d = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

1. The sum of adjacent angle is 180 degree

115 + 8b +1 = 180

8b = 180 -116

b = 8

Similarly

14a - 5 + 115 = 180

14a = 180 -110

14a = 70

a = 14

2. Intersecting diagonals divide each other into equal halves

3d + 5 = 5d + 1

2d = 4

d = 2

xz_007 [3.2K]

Answer:

33.0

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the pythagoras theorem

tan theta = opposite/adjacent

tan 41 = x/38

x = 38tan41

x = 38(0.8693)

x = 33.03

Hence the value of x to nearest tenth is 33.0
