Which choice uses a semicolon correctly to join two independent clauses? My sister and I love to cook; we spend hours cooking to
ololo11 [35]
An independent clause is a sentence or part of one that can stand alone.

So I have a feeling that the first one is correct as "My sister and I love to cook" and "we spend hours cooking together" can both stand alone yet are joined by a semicolon.

I hope this has helped

I just got off the wooden roll-a-coaster again. what are the grammar errors
alexandr402 [8]
The only error I can see in this sentence is roll-a-coaster. I believe it should be a roller coaster instead, which is a ride in amusement parks. Other than that, it is more grammatically correct to say "I've just gotten off the wooden" rather than "I just got off the wooden" however, it's up to you.
