D. Nonfiction doesn't depend on a plot.
You can read a science textbook, which is considered non-fiction, and have no story or plot behind any of the words. It can have a plot, but it does not DEPEND on it.
Camp Green Lake was once an actual lake, but an extended drought caused the lake to dry up and become a dessert.
The other students' in Auggie's homeroom kept their distance from him. the one student, Henry, placed his backpack on the desks between them to "build a wall." the students were not welcoming towards Auggie. Auggie is able to cover his face with a mask, in order to feel like every other kid.
