Explanation:  There I was, standing in that alleyway, looking at it dead in the eyes. My mind told me to run, My heart told me to run faster, but my legs had already given up.

Those red eyes still haunt me to this day. And as they approcahed me, I began to feel how my mind began to curdle, how my stomach churned, how the feeling of survival slowly crept away from me.

As the red eyes approached near me, I could see the glint in its eyes. A sparkle that said, "you're dead". And with that look, all I remember last was looking as his gaze widened and he leapt towards me with a crackling cry.

I woke up in a jiffy, it happend again, The same god-forsaken dream.

But what was worse was, was that I knew that I had to face it again. When I got out of bed and leave my house, it will be there to greet me. When I would cross the street, it would be there with a sarcastic smile, with an undertone of creepiness. Even though all these encounters lasted only a moment, to me it felt like hours.

Facing my fear for me was not an option but rather a necessity, because it was everywhere.

To this day, it still stands outside my doors and waits for me to go to sleep, just to hound me again.
