Answer:

Option B. (3,-10,0) is the right answer.

Step-by-step explanation:

In these questions we should always remember x-axis represents a line in front of us, y-axis represents a line horizontally perpendicular to the line representing x-axis and Z- axis is vertically perpendicular to the x and y- axis.

So shifting front or back means it's a change on x- axis coordinates, shifting right or left means translated on y-axis and moving up and down means translated on z- axis.

Now point for B(5, -6, -1)

x- axis -- 5 - 2 (shifted 2 units back means moved back on x-axis)

y- axis -- (-6) + 3 (shifted 3 units right means right movement on y-axis)

z-axis -- (-1) + 1 ( shifted 1 unit up means increase in z coordinate)

So the new endpoint will be B'(2, -3, 0)

Now as per question image is further translated 7 units left that means

y-axis -- -3 + (-7) (shifted 7 to the left on y axis)

Therefore new end point will be (3, -10, 0).

Which equation shows y = -1/2x + 4 is in standard form?
Scrat [10]

For this case we have that by definition, the standard way to write the equation of a line, is given by:

ax + by = c

Where a, b and c are integers.

Given y =-\frac{1}{2}x+ 4

We can write it in the standard way:

\frac{1}{2}x+ y = 4

a=\frac{1}{2} and by the previous definition, the numbers a, b and c must be integers.

Thus, we multiply the equation by 2, on both sides so as not to alter the equality.

2*\frac{1}{2}x+ 2 * y= 2 * 4

x + 2y = 8

Thus, the equation of y =-\frac{1}{2}x+ 4 , in its standard form is given by:

x + 2y = 8

Find the interquartile range (IQR) of the data set of 0,0,0,1,2,2,4,5,7,8,10
myrzilka [38]

Answer:7

Step-by-step explanation:

0,0,0,1,2,2,4,5,7,8,10

Median=2

Lower half=0,0,0,1,2

Upper half=4,5,7,8,10

Median in lower half=0

Median in upper half=7

Interquartile range=median in upper half - median in lower half

Interquartile range=7 - 0

Interquartile range=7
