Opening the door would be like entering a rainforest of COLOUR! To the right of me were beautiful bluebells and to the right were fabulous fox-glove! They had come in many different colours and sizes... I love my Grandparents house!

In the painting, though the character of Daedalus isn't visible, the theme of trying too hard which led to the disastrous drowning is perfectly shown through the fall of Icarus.
