The skeletal system of human is composed of four main connective tissues i.e. bones, ligaments, tendons, and joints.

Bone is composed of collagen and calcium phosphate. Collagen is a protein that provides a soft framework to the skeleton, whereas calcium phosphate is a mineral that provides strength to the framework. Ligaments are the bands of tough elastic tissue that are present around your joints.

These ligaments connect one bone to another bone. A tendon is a type of fibrous connective tissue which attaches the muscle to bone. The area or region where two or more bones meet with each other is called joint so we can say that skeletal system is composed of bones, ligaments, tendons, and joints.

How would a change in altitude, such as climbing to the top of Mount Timpanogos affect a person's breathing rate?
Fantom [35]

The correct answer is option B

The rate would be increased because of less atmospheric pressure . The atmospheric pressure decreases with increasing altitude. The pressure in general terms is defined as the weight of air molecules over given unit of air.

At high altitudes there are very few air molecules and thus the weight of the air is less and thus the pressure exerted is also less. Due to lesser air molecules there exists the problem of breathing.

explain the difference between the number of chromosomes between a frog somatic cell and a frog egg cell
leva [86]
A somatic cell is a cell that is any of the 22 chromosome pairs that aren’t reproductive cells. So, these cells would have the full 26 chromosomes that a frog usually has.

However, since an egg cell is a reproductive cell and needs to combine with another reproductive cell to create one whole combined cell and organism, it would only have 13 chromosomes. The egg cell is like half of a somatic cell, so it will have half of however many the somatic cell will have.
