Organizing decision making into three categories or levels is done in a business environment in order to make for effecient and effective  decision  making.

The 3 categories of decision making in an organization include:

  • strategic decision making
  • tactical decision making
  • operational decision making

Strategic decision making is the highest level of decision making in an organization as it is made by upper management in the organization. They are long term decisions and so require more critical thinking and time to implement.

Tactical decision making are decisions that concern implementation of strategic goals and objectives of the organization. They are more detailed and less long term than strategic decisions

Operational decisions are low level decisions made by employees on a day to day. They are like routine decisions.

Strategic decisions are high level decisions which are focused on the goals and mission of the organization. These decisions are then brought to live or implemented by the other categories of decision making- tactical decision and operational decisions

She used ethos to reference her credibility when she talked about her status as a mother who had borne 13 children that were sent to slavery. She also talked about her status as a woman who did not receive the aid that was meant for her.

She appealed to the emotions of the audience when she explained her suffering of planting and laboring despite being a woman.
