Aspasia was the partner of Pericles and was quite influential in Athens. This allowed her to open a school where girls could get educated.

Pericles was a very influential Athenian leader who led the city in various wars and contributed to its growth. Under him, the Parthenon was constructed.

Alexander the Great conquered the Persian empire and as such, ruled over various nationalities such as Greeks, Egyptians, Persians, Syrians, and many more.

Socrates was one of the most famous Greek philosophers. He tried to teach the Greeks about what he thought was right and wrong.

Philip of Macedon was Alexander's father and when he noticed that there was a power vacuum in Greece from Thebes defeating Sparta, he launched attacks and managed to take over and unite most of Greece.

In conclusion, there have been several reputable Greeks in the past and they all contributed immensely to the development of Greece.
