Why did some colonists become skilled craftsman in the Middle Colonies
boyakko [2]

Some colonists became skilled craftsmen in the Middle Colonies because it ended up not being enough open farm land for everyone to farm and there was, at that time, not enough of other trades so instead of farming, they went to craftsmanship. Most of the farm land was also covered with a lot of forestry and at the time, tree removal was a very long and lengthy process; this meant that land would open up at a painfully slow pace. Basically, they didn't have much of an option to go to other avenues to make money.

Anna007 [38]

Answer:

magnets are used in refrigerator to keep the door closed. it is used in tv and computer screen. magnets are also used in electrical bell. All magnets have north and south poles. Opposite poles are attracted to each other, while the same poles repel each other. When you rub a piece of iron along a magnet, the north-seeking poles of the atoms in the iron line up in the same direction. The force generated by the aligned atoms creates a magnetic field.Magnets are important because of their properties A particle moving in a magnetic field feels a force proportional to his speed, and to the field, so you can use a magnet that produce a field in a certain way and shape, in order to catch a particle in motion.

How does the shape of our present day continents support the idea of continental drift?
almond37 [142]

Fossil records from separate continents, particularly on the outskirts of continents show the same species. As well mineral specimens along the supposed break lines of the continents are nearly identical. Some identical species exist on certain continents, like an earthworm common to both Africa and South America suggesting the species could not have spontaneously arisen on both continents without some variations.
