These two terms are really similar but there is a difference between them. Both involve unjust and unfair opinion about people based on certain factors like race and religion and not based on the individuals themselves. But prejudice describes attitudes while discrimination describes actions.

Halfway through the semester, Samuel quit doing assignments for and going to his advanced accounting class. He attributes this t
Firdavs [7]

Answer:

C. Low self-efficacy for accounting

Explanation:

Samuel's problem resides in the fact that he failed the first two tests which led him to believe that he has a lack of talent for accounting. This is the main reason why he now believes he will do much better as a management major. Since, self-efficacy is the person's belief that he or she has the capacity or ability to perform successfully to meet his of her goals, the lack or reduced levels of self-efficacy means a person is no longer motivated because he or she beliefs they lack the capacity to fulfill or meet their own goals/expectations. Samuel's attitude displays exactly low self-efficacy for accounting as he now believes he does not have what it takes to continue pursuing that major.

docker41 [41]

Answer:

The main difference between the American melting pot and the Canadian mosaic lies in the reception of the cultural differences of the immigrants in each country.

Thus, the United States historically sought to integrate immigrants to the predominantly Anglo-Saxon American culture, incorporating specific issues of each culture. Thus, for example, Italian elements such as pizza or pasta, German elements such as beer, or Latin elements such as Caribbean music were incorporated. But always within the framework of a single integrative culture, which discarded other less interesting issues for the cultural mainstream.

On the other hand, in Canada it was sought to adopt all foreign cultures, promoting the permanence of cultural values different from those of the Canadian mainstream. Thus, each nation maintained and continues to maintain certain cultural values that are celebrated alongside traditional Canadian values.

Answer: Accomodation

Explanation:Accommodation according to Jean Piaget is a process in which we change or adjust our own existing knowlegde so that we accommodate the new information.

For example if you were raised in a country where women can wear any type of clothing and then you went to Pakistan for example where there is a certain way in which women dress up , you may have to adjust your knowledge to accommodate this new information.

Accomodation according to Jean Piaget mean that you compromise or adjust the information that you already know to fit in the new information instead of letting the new information fits in what you already know.
