Answer:

Temple of Portunus (formerly known as Fortuna Virilis), travertine, tufo, and stucco, c. 120-80 B.C.E., Rome

The Temple of Portunus is a well preserved late second or early first century B.C.E. rectangular temple in Rome, Italy. Its dedication to the God Portunus—a divinity associated with livestock, keys, and harbors—is fitting given the building’s topographical position near the ancient river harbor of the city of Rome.

Differences between Greek Parthenon and Temple of Portunus :

The Temple of Portunus was raised on a high podium and could only be approached by steps across the front of the building in contrast to the Parthenon, whose steps run around all four sides. Because the greek temple encourages viewers to walk around the building and explore its uniformly articulated sculptural mass, Roman temples are defined in relation to interior spaces, which visitors are invited to enter through one opening along the longitudinal axis of a symmetrical plan.

Which type of arch, made up of stones that are progressively stepped inward, was used by the ancient babylonians and mycenaeans?
iVinArrow [24]
The correct answer is the corbeled arch.
Ancient nations such as Babylonians and Mycenaeans really loved using this type of arch in their architecture. Today, it is known as a 'false arch,' given that it cannot support itself completely the way other 'true' types of arches can. However, it is still a beautiful piece of architecture.
