Please complete the sentence
Will give brainliest

Misfortune

A family that loses their home in a storm is experiencing misfortune.

YES

I experienced misfortune when I lost my five dollar bill on the way to the store.

Mistaken

It is possible for a woman to be mistaken for her Identical twin sister

Yes

I'm often mistaken for somebody else as we have the same features.

Superstition

The idea that Friday the 13th is an unlucky day is a common superstition

Yes

One superstition I have heard is that if a black cat crosses your path you will fall to bad-luck and will experience misfortune.

A superstition that I had was that if you broke a mirror you would be cursed for 7 years. This influenced me from a young age not to destroy any reflective surfaces as we had a lot of those in the house. I believed that my parents tried to influence me/ tell me at a young age was so that feared of one day falling into misfortune which luckily never happened. I started to finally not believe the superstition when I opened my locker and my mirror fell and was everywhere and weeks past and nothing bad happened.

Hoped this helped in some way,

Jon

The story needs 19 capital letters; 13 to begin sentences and another 6 for proper names. Draw lines through the wrong homophone
Vikki [24]

note: bolding = word choice; underline = capitalization and punctuation

People say a monster lives in Butter Bay.

A boy called Bruce swam in the surf one day.

Suddenly an arm curled around his waist.

The water began to bubble.

Poor Bruce was pulled down.

The farther he went the more it hurt.

He struggled until he was free.

Two lifeguards brought him to the shore.

When his mother bought him a new pair of swimming trunks she put him in his drawer.

He has never worn them.

He is too scared to swim in Butter Bay.

He says it is not safe.

Would you swim there?

I separated them by sentences so the bolding and underline wouldn't be confusing. Hope this helps! :)

Is there anyone who can help me to write an essay
“If I...”
const2013 [10]

You could try to think of thing what would you do if you won a million and or if you were a president. You may also contact the professional writers who can write the essay for you. Check them at Prime Writings site. They are always available there.

Here is what I have found. I would strive to accomplish these three major things. First, I would strengthen our educational system, second, I would make certain that everyone has equal and fair treatment in our society, and lastly, I would secure our borders.

Our education system in America is not one in which we should be very proud of. Yes, America does have excellent schools, colleges, and learning institutions, but our standards are not set as high as other countries. For example, our country does not fund our schools adequately. Teachers teach with not enough books, no supplies, or books that are often over 20 years old. How can we expect our children to be up to date with the worlds information if our teaching materials are not new? Often teachers in our public schools are forced to buy text books and supplies for our children with their own personal money. Why do they do this? Because they believe in a good education for all learners. Our country "prides" itself on the quality of education a person can receive here, yet teachers are one of the countries lowest paid professionals.
