The theme for the fox and the crane is "do not play tricks on your neighbor unless you can stand the same treatment yourself" this answer relates to the story because the fox treated the crane badly but he expected her to give him a proper dinner. for the second story, the theme is "do not listen to the advice of someone who wants to lower you to their own level" this relates to the story because the fox is trying to get all the foxes to cut their tails off so he would not be the only one who is made fun of. the moral of the last story is "there is always someone who is worse off  than yourself/others" this relates to the story because the hares are scared of everything that comes in their path...they are one of the creatures that fear almost everything
