There are more than one geologic feature that was most likely produced by plate interaction at point A of the picture. Some of the features would of been an island arc, fault, mountains, and a volcano.

Offshore you will have a deep oceanic trench where the two plates collide. Onshore you will have a mountain range (the cascades and Sierra nevadas) generated by thick skin deformation.
