After coming home from the Vietnam War, Bob Adams suffered PTSD. He began drinking heavily and used drugs. After years of battle, he was sober and became a social worker specializing in PTSD. He feeds homeless and street people in Chicago realizing then that most of them were veterans. He began to reflect the situation of veterans before helping them and establishing a home for veterans.
