How to Sharpen a Pencil:
Pick up pencil.
Walk to pencil sharpener.
Next, turn the handle clockwise on the sharpener.
Put the pencil in the sharpener and hold it in place.
Stop turning the handle.
Check to see if pencil is sharp.
If sharp, walk back to your desk.
If not sharp, turn the handle of the sharpener again.

As a writer and reader I disagree with this. Perhaps if you are writing for a scientific journal or business report, long blocks of text can seem like you have a lot of info. Generally speaking, especially in fiction and non fiction i think unbroken pages of text will best case scenario bore a reader, worst case scenraio burden and overwhelm  them with a lot of info so the feel daunted about continuing.

Answer: As humans, we have a natural want, an urge if you will, to be near people. We want to fit in somewhere, to be told you belong. It's acceptance, and it's normal, being alone without human interaction is more of an unnatural want, and is usually brought on by past experience.
