Answer:

Descriptive Text (but read to understand why)

Explanation:

Let's look at our paragraph sentence by sentence.

"Lion is considered as the second largest cat in the world."

What is this stating? That the lion is the second largest cat in the world, right?

So it must be describing the subject, the lion, of the paragraph.

Let's look at two more sentences of the paragraph just so you get an idea!

"It symbolizes strength, power and ferocity."

Once again, this is an description of the lion.

Ok, last one.

"They have great physical power and strength compared to other animals."

Wow, they've given us even more by comparing it to other animals. So it must be describing the Lion in order to compare it.

Just by these three sentences, we can use process of elimination to find our answer.

It's not a narrative, definitely not argument, and it's not given us a procedure. So it must be descriptive.

Hope this helped and that you actually understand it now! :D

Describe peyton's escape from the time he enters the water to getting back home
FromTheMoon [43]
Peytons escape is a difficult one. Immediately as he hits the water the soldiers open fire on him and he must swim to evade being shot after surviving a hanging. The soldiers even bring in artillery to kill him but the current pulls him away. While in the water, nature becomes so alive and powerful he can hear the sounds, see tiny detail, and feel things like never before. He drives himself tirelessly through the day, forcing himself to make it home at all costs. He is so exhausted he believes he has fallen asleep while walking because suddenly he arrives in front of his home where his wife is waiting with open arms. As he is about to clasp her in his arms, the truth of the situation becomes apparent as there is a blow to the back of his neck. It is his rope snapping his neck as he was hanged, the escape was just a dream, not real at all. Peyton died in a noose, hung for burning the bridge.

Which metaphor for aging does Shakespeare use?
vlada-n [284]

Twilight is the metaphor for aginf tha Shakespeare uses. Option C is correct.

A metaphor is understood as a figure of speech that describes an object or action in a way that isn’t literally true, but helps convey an idea or draw a comparison. A metaphor states that one thing is another thing.

Metaphors are used in poetry, literature.

So, this literary decive is implemented in order to encourage the reader to make a comparison between two seemingly unrelated things.
