You can check using the Pythagorean Theorem: a^2+b^2=c^
a=10
b=41
c=42 (because it is longest)

10^2+41^2=42^2
100+1681=1764
1781=1764

Since they are not equal, this is not a right triangle

Hope this helps

Temka [501]

Answer:

2c^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Simplify: 8c^3d^2/4cd^2.

The d^2 cancels out leaving 8c^3/4c. 8/4 = 2. c^3/c = c^2.

Therefore, your answer is 2c^2

A diagonal of a rectangle is 8cm and forms an angle measuring 30 with one side. Find the area of the rectangle.
tankabanditka [31]

Answer:

Arectangle=27.68cm (approximately)

Step-by-step explanation:

in order to find the area of the rectangle first you need to find the measure of the length and width.

since both of them aren't given ,use trigonometry to find the value of the length and width.

sin30°=opposite/hypotenuse

sin30°=opposite/8cm

opposite=sin30°*8cm. >sin30°=0.5

opposite=4cm

cos30°=adjacent/hypotenuse

cos30°=adjacent/8cm

adjacent=cos30°*8cm. cos30°=0.866

adjacent=6.92cm (approximate value)

Arectangle= bh

Arectangle=4cm*6.92cn

Arectangle=27.68cm

Find the value of 0.34 * 9
Julli [10]
3.06; lining it up 4*9= 36, write the 6 and carry the 3, then 9*3= 27, add 3 and you get 30. Since in your original problem you have two places behind the decimal point you do the same with your answer so that 306 turns into 3.06
