The solutions needs to fall inside the shaded region. The three blue dots do.

     (-3, -3)

     (-4, -1)

     (-2, -1)

Two of the red dots clearly do not, so they're out. The one red dot falls on the intersection of the two lines. It is also excluded as an answer, because of the dashed line.
